Radio/Television Experience

Qualifications

 

-Knowledge of software such as: Scott Studios, Cool Edit Pro (version 2.0), Media 100, Majority of Microsoft Products, Adobe Photoshop,  and Prophet NextGEN (voice tracking and live)

 

-Taken classes relevant to this line of work.

 

-Employee for Clear Channel Radio for over two years, starting at the age of 19.

 

-Jack of all trades, and there is not anything that I would not try to learn or do in this business.

 

-Experience in many different formats. Most of my experience is in CHR, but I have much interest in rock/alternative and I am also knowledgeable about the music and bands.

 

-Able to do phone interviews as well as live interviews with local as well as well known talent.

 

-Passion for my work, and I LOVE RADIO!

 

Work History-

 

WWBX-FM: On-Air night announcer (weeknights as well as Sundays) full time on local top 40 CHR station. Duties include giveaways, voice tracking, live for 2 1/2 hours a night, 2 sponsored segments of the show, creating promotions, contacting record companies for product, remote broadcasts, board operator, and production assistant.

 

WTOS-FM: Rock station (both classic and new rock). Responsible for imaging as well as filling in on-air when needed.

 

WABK-FM: Oldies station. On-Air announcer every Saturday for a live show.

 

WBFB-FM:  Popular Country station. Duties include part-time voice tracking and board operation for remote broadcasts. 

 

WFZX-FM: Classic rock station. Duties include part-time voice tracking and board operation for remote broadcasts.

 

WNSX-FM: Sports radio. Responsible for teching many different sporting events (local and national) such as the Celtics, the Seadogs, New England Patriots Football, high school basketball tournaments, and high school football/basketball games.

 

WKSQ-FM: AC station. Responsible for loading the weather on the weekends for 8 stations as well as board operation for remote broadcasts and live updates at the high school basketball tournaments (which are held annually.)

 

WLKE-FM: Country station. Duties include voicing spots, sweepers, and jingles.

 

*Assisted in production and promotions. Duties include voicing and producing spots and promotions. Also some writing for promotions scripts.

 

Television Experience

 

WVII-TV: ABC/Fox Affiliate: Production Assistant. Responsible for running camera for three nightly newscasts, editing, voice overs, and filling in for the audio board.
